A memorial website
Remember is a digital platform that allows users to create and share digital memorials for loved ones. The website serves as a place for memories, stories, and tributes, helping people honor and remember those who have passed away. Our team was tasked with redesigning the Remember website to improve its user experience and overall visual appeal. The original site did not fully convey the emotional and meaningful nature of the platform.
The site did not effectively convey the emotional weight of the platform's purpose, making it difficult for users to connect on a deeper level. Additionally, the existing Remember website faced several key issues. Users struggled to find key features and create memorial pages efficiently due to unclear navigation. The design was not aesthetically appealing and lacked a cohesive visual system, leading to visual clutter.
Strengthening emotional connection through storytelling, making the memorialization process more personal and impactful
Ensure a respectful memorialization experience that helps users preserve the memory of their loved ones
Offer an interactive platform where users can create, explore, and connect through personalized memorial pages.
Create an easy, experience with social media-like features, ensuring future adaptability for a mobile app.
To better understand the users and their pain points, we conducted extensive research. We performed a competitive analysis, studying similar platforms to identify best practices in digital memorialization. We also conducted user interviews with existing users to understand their experience, challenges, and expectations. Lastly, we performed usability testing by observing users navigating the old website to pinpoint major friction points.
In-depth interviews with designers
These insights directly shaped the features of Remember.
I want to create a digital space where I can truly feel my loved one’s presence, not just see a list of dates and facts
It would be meaningful to have a way to share memories with family and friends, instead of struggling with platforms.

The design of Remember is not just about creating a digital space it is about honoring legacies, fostering connections, and ensuring that memories live on. Every element, from color to layout, reflects these values, making Remember a place of comfort, reflection, and everlasting remembrance.
Lack of Emotional Connection digital memorial platforms often feel impersonal, focusing on basic information rather than meaningful storytelling and emotional engagement.
Navigation and Search Issues Complex menus and ineffective search functions make it difficult for users to find and interact with content, leading to frustration and page abandonment.
Inconsistent design
The site lacked visual harmony and felt cluttered, making navigation overwhelming and distracting from the emotional significance of memorialization.

Welcome to my website where creativity, curiosity, and a whole lot of pixels come together
Design is not just work, I live it. Over the years, I’ve explored graphic design,
website building, art direction, advertising, and UX UI. With every skill I’ve
picked up along the way, I found my place in product design bringing
ideas
to life in a smart intuitive and stunning digital experiences.
This entire website? Yep, made it myself- no engineers, no developers, just me,
my laptop, and a slightly concerning number of late-night Elementor sessions.
Launched on April 2, 2025. So if you see this concept elsewhere…
Well, you know where it came from first. 😉
